ENGLISH COUNTIES

ASSOCIATION MEETING MANY MEMBERS ATTEND Success attended the monthly meeting of the Gloucester and Somerset Association, held on Tuesday night in the Manchester Unity Oddfellows' Hall. The attendance was excellent and included several new members, who were welcomed by the president, Mr. Frank Board, and Mrs. Broad. A foundation member of the association, Mr. W. Josephs, gave a talk on the history of Bristol, covering extensively the progress of the beautiful city 011 the Avon.

A programme was also presented and included a bracket of vocal duets by Mr. and Mrs. Wrathall and items by Mr. Dudley Wrathall and Mr. P. Peterson. The accompaniments were played by Mr. H. Barrington, and a visitor provided the music for the short but popular session of dancing. Supper was provided by the ladies' committee.
