REFUGEE VETERINARIANS
INVITATION SUGGESTED SHORTAGE IN NEW ZEALAND A suggestion that refugee veterinary surgeons from Austria and Germany should be invited to New Zealand to help to overcome the shortage, was made at the meeting of the Auckland Provincial Executive of the Farmers Union yesterday. "Stock losses are the biggest problem facing New Zealand farmers," said Mr. K. S. Cox, it moving that the attention of ,the Government be drawn to the fact that trained refugees were available, The motionwas carried.
