THEFT FROM GARAGE

CAR AND TOOLS STOLEN [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] HASTINGS, Wednesday Unusual circumstances surround tho theft of a motor-car and a quantity of tools to a total value of £330 taken from a Hastings garage at an early hour this morning. A watchman inspecting tho premises found nothing unusual at 2 a.m., but shortly after heard tho sound of a car engine. Opening tho sliding doors and hastily returning, he found the car gone. It is surmised that some person or persons entered the premises before they wcro locked up at 8 p.m. and hid in the car.

Two other garago thefts of tools, equipment and money from a safe have occurred in the last few weeks.
