ABSORBING ADULT WORKERS / LBY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday A decision to confer with the Minister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb, about ways of absorbing and training adult mslo labour in the industry was made by/ tho New Zealand Footwear Manufacturers' Association at tbe annual conference, which began to-day. It was agreed to co-operate to the fullest extent with the Minister in the matter. It was reported that it was now possible to as.-iiure workers steady employment throughout the year.
