PACIFIC AIRWAYS
LOSS ON THE SERVICE COMPANY SEEKS RELIEF ■WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 The directors of Pan American Airways have asked for a lump sum of 3,680,000 dollars for their contract for carrying mails across the Pacific. Hitherto the company has received 2,000.000 dollars annually. It is said that the present Pacific service is being operated at a loss of 900,000 dollars a year.
