CHILD REFUGEES
FUNDS FOR ASSISTANCE WOMEN'S DIVISION PLANS A plea for practical and organised aid for child sufferers from 'war and political causes was made by Mrs. A. F. It. Mcintosh, a member of the Women's Division of tho Farmers' Union, in a letter received by tho Waikato branch of the Farmers' Union. Mrs. Mcintosh stated that she was suggesting to the Women's Division a method of obtaining funds for the purchase of food and clothing, and asked the union to endeavour to obtain tin* interest of the National Dairy Association and tho Dairy Board. It was decided to make every endeavour to obtain funds for the purpose outlined by Mrs. Mcintosh.
