BUSH DRAMA
Once more the astonishing powers of Jhe Australian aboriginals in following tracks through the' bush have • been demonstrated, and this time they sticin saving the life of a while man. This bush drama was enacted in arid 2nd barren country round Anthony's a goon, approximately 600 miles from ■JJanvin in Northern Australia. A contactor named .James Rail left his camp 0 fake a short walk, but lost, his Mr. Becoming hopelessly bushed, he ftrugKled oyer miles of desertland pilere waterholes are few and far heWith neither food nor water, pestered by thousands of flies, lie "°wod -extraordinary grit. Ho was ,?»nd lying under a tree which afforded ' '0 shelter from the sun; his wrists WO cut and he had been without water hours. ' >|hen Mr. Rail's disappearance was 'St noticed his partner sent word to 6 sergeant at Anthony's Lncroon. ~ 0 immediately went out to search for taking two aboriginal trackers and „ n "? n natives. The tracks .were picked +.if 6 n 8 a cattle path, and, although caitt XVOre obliterated in many places' by 1° having passed over them, the u . orG a Lie to follow them for miles.
