TTnsalted New Zealand is quoted nt 1265, or 2s below last week's closing rate. Prices on the market, however, are firm.

In spite of the decline, New Zealand values are still considerably higher than they were a month ago, when salted was at 117s, and much above the rate a year ago, when it was 109s.

According to a Press Association message sent from London on Tliurs-! day Australian salted butter is selling at from 119s to 120s per cwt., this | also representing a decline of Is on , the week's trading. Unsalted has fallen by 2s to 1225. The cheese market is quiet. Pricesj at 67s per cwt, for New Zealand white j and coloured represent a decline of Is I on the week. Australian white, at! from 62s to 635, has decreased by up to Is 6d, but Australian coloured has increased from 64s 6d to 655.
