BITTEN BY A DOG
WAIHI MAN'S INJURIES SERIOUS LOSS OF 6LOOD TRYING TO SEPARATE ANIMALS [by correspondent] WAIHI, Saturday While trying to separate dogs fighting in the main street to-day, Mr. liouis Warne, an employee of the Martha Gold Mining Company (Waihi), Limited, was severely bitten on the hand by one of the animals. First aid was given by a member of the St. John ambulance brigade and the injured man later received medical attention. Mr. Warne suffered from considerable loss of blood and it is feared that amputation of one or more fingers may be necessary.
