' PROTECTION BY BRITAIN COMPLETE PLANS MADE (Received December 22, 0.5 p.m.) British Wireless LONDON, Dec. 21 The Parliamentary Secretary of the Admiralty, Mr. G. H. Shakespeare, in the House of Commons said complete plans for tho protection of merchant, ships had been prepared and the collaboration of shipping interests had been ensured by the formation two years ago of a Shipping Defence Advisory Committee. The details ol these plans, of course, were secret, but a general outline had been communicated to the Mercantile Marine.
