DIRECTOR OF MUSEUM GRANT FROM AMERICA [by telegraph- —OWN correspondent] NAPIER, Thursday Tho director of the Hawke's Bay Museum, -Mr. L. B. Bestall, who has received a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York to enable him to visit overseas countries to study developments in his special field, will leave.New Zealand in March next year for a tour through the United States, Canada, and Europe. He expects to be away at least six months. Mr. Bestall will investigate methods of display and the preservation of museum exhibits. He will visit Sweden and Denmark, which have some of the most modern museums and art galleries.
