SUNKEN PADDLE VESSEL
EFFORTS AT REFLOATING [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday Although the decks of tho Maninyai, the old paddle-wheel vessel that sank at its berth at Hamilton last week, are still under water, the Waikato River is going down rapidly, and it is Expected that the work of refloating tho vessel will be commenced shortly after Christinas. No difficulty in this operation is anticipated. As soon as tho water-level falls below the decks, the Manuwai's own pumps will bo used to clear her of water.
