Miss Winifred Salmon will leave on January 10 by the Awatea for England, via South Africa. Mrs. M. S. Henderson, of Roslyn Avenue, liemuera, will leave to-day by the Monterey for Sydney. Miss Nancy Coakley, Waiata Avenue, liemuera, will leave to-day by the Monterey 011 a visit to Sydney. Miss Gwen Champion, of New Plymouth, is the guest <}f Mrs. 11. H. Duder, Church Street, Devonport. Mrs. W. Rogers, of Nelson, is visiting Auckland, and will spend several weeks here before returning south.

Finlay, of Mountain Road, Kpsom, and her daughter, Miss Mary Finlay, will leave for Rotorua at the week-end. Mrs. Cyril Bruce-Smith, of Canterbury Place, Parnell, and her family have taken a house at Campbell's Baylor a month. Mrs. Arthur Rhind, of Otahuh u, accompanied by her family, left yesterday to spend the holidays at Connell's Bay, Waiheke. Mrs. J. N. Wilson, of Ngapuhi Road, Remuera, accompanied by her husband and small daughter, will leave to-day for New LMymouth. Mrs. Gerald McCarthy, Aldred Road, Remuera, will leave at the week-end for the South Island, and will stay with relatives at Timaru. Mrs. Dawson Campbell, of Palmerston North, and her small son, Graeme, are spending the holidays with Mrs. A. I). Reid, Devonport.

Jackson, Miss .1. McPhee and Miss A. M. Johnston (England), are at the Station Hotel. Mrs. A. A. Vinson, of Auckland, left yesterday with her grand-daughter, Miss Vinson, and her fiance, Mr. J. Edge,, to spend a holiday with her daughter, Mrs. A. J. Teague, of Papamoa. Miss R. V. Attenborough, assistant secretary of .the Mutual Improvement Association, left for Wellington by the limited express last night on her way to d'Urville Island, where she will attend a conference of the Mormon Church. Mrs. W. J. Gray, of Wellington, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Monterey on her return from a five months' tour of the United States. During her stay in Auckland she will be the guest of Mrs. J. L. Scoullar. of Shelly Beach Road, Heme Bay. Mrs. Gray was accompanied on her tour by Mrs. Albert Wylie, also of Wellington.
