The charge was a secjuol to a motor accident on tho jUorrinsvillo-Tahuna highway about 4 a.m. on September 25, when n motor-ear struck a concrete culvert and somersaulted into a stream. Two of tho passengers, George Trevor Paid of Tahuna, a brother of the accused, and Jack Meta, of Walton, were, trapped in the car under tho water and lost their lives. Tho accused resorved his defcnco and was committed to the Supremo Court at Hamilton for trial. Hail was allowed. At an inquest held on November 17 tho coroner returned a verdict that tho deceased were accidentally killed.
