SALARY OF £IOOO
OFFER TO BRADMAN CRICKET CLUB POSITION (Received December 121, 11.50 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 21 Don Bradman is reported to be considering an invitation to take the secretaryship of the Melbourne Cricket Club at a salary of £IOOO a year. The post is vacant owing to the death of Hugh Trumble. Bradman, who is with a firm of sharebrokers in Adelaide, refuses to comment upon the offer.
