TRUMAN—CAVE GUESTS AT RECEPTION The wedding took place yesterday morning at St. Barnabas' Church, Mount Eden, of Miss Doreen Orsova Cave, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Cave, of "Waihiwi," Cockle Bay, Howick, and the Reverend Francis Cecil Truman, vicar of St. John's Church, Northcote, eldest son of Mr and Mrs. F. Truman, of Lancing Road, Mount Albert. The Reverend P. C. Davis performed the ceremony, assisted by the Reverend G. it. Monteith, and Mr. C. C. Hardy was the organist. The bride entered the church with her father, wearing a frock of ivory embossed suede mado with a Grecian bodice and V-shaped neckline. The sleeves, which were long and tightfitting. were puffed at the top and iinisiied with a row of buttons from wrisl to elbow. The fullness of the gored skirt was concentrated at the back, where it fell to form a circular train. Her embroidered veil was caught with orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of Christmas lilies. Three Bridesmaids The bridesmaids were Misses Avcnil and Merle Cave (sisters of the bride) and Miss Lois Harwood. They wore frocks of white and gold striped organza over gold taffetas, with full skirts and draped bodices. Their veils of cream tulle were attached with gylrl (lowers, and they carried showei bouquets of tea roses and gold gladioli Attending the bridegroom were his brother, Mr. Wilfred Truman, as best man, and Mr. J. J. Laws and Mr. Leslie Allen, as groomsmen. The ushers were Mr. Reginald Truman (brother 'of the bridegroom) and Mr. Keith Harwood. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Mount Eden tea kiosk, Mrs. Cave receiving the guests in a frock of clover silk, and nn edge-to-edge coat of navy bine. She wore a wide-brimmed hat of navy straw, and carried a bouquet of cyclamen-shaded sweet peas and stock. Mrs. F. Truman wore a floral striped frock of dusty pink English crepe, navy blue lace coat and navy straw hat. Her bouquet was of dusty pink carnations.
