ARMSTRONG. —On December 21, at her danjrhtcr's residence. J\aukapakapa, Lily Hoberta, wife of the late G. E. A. Armstrong, Apia, Samoa, and loved mother of Mrs. H. F._ Spencer, and Mrs. Leslie Drinnan; aged 77 years. Funeral at Kaukapakapa Cemetery at '2.15 p.m. to-morrow (Friday). BEER.—On December 20, 1038, at Auckland Hospital. Georgo John, dearly-beloved husband of Mary Ann Beer, 42A Nelson Street, City, and beloved father of Thomas and Sidney; aged 74 years. Interred yesterday at Waikumete Cemetery. BIGGS.—On December 21, at Auckland Hospital, Emily, dearly-beloved wife of Alfred Ernest Biggs, and mother of Dessie, Harold and Kenneth. Funeral will leave her late residence, 23 Fairfax Avenue,- Penrose, to-day (Thursday) at 2 p.m. for Waikumete. CHAPPELL. —On December 21, at Auckland, Albert, beloved husband of Lily, Chappell, 385 Dominion Road, late of Hamilton; aged 77 years. Funeral will leave W. H. Tongue and Sons' chapel 3.30 p.m. to-morrow (Friday), for Waikumete Cemetery. FLANAGAN. —On December 21, 1938. at Auckland Hospital, James, dearly-loved third son of Michael and Katherine Flanagan, of 10 Brixton Road. Mount Eden ; aged 13 jiars.—R.l.P.
