Seddon, Consul-General for Greece in New Zealand, that the. appointment of Mr. Stanley Nicholas Garland as deputj'-Consul for Greece, at Wellington, had been provisionally recognised. ' Mr. Garland, who is in business in Wellington, was born in Greece in 1892. After receiving his early education at the Cerigo High' School, he left in 1904 for Australia, where his parents entered business.
