FOREIGN TRANSACTIONS RELAXATIONS WITHDRAWN (Received/December 21, 7.45 p.m.) British Wireless LONDON, Dec. 20 The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir John Simon, in the House of Commons to-day made the following statement: "The House will recollect that on February 1 I Btated that, in view of the condition of our exchanges at that i time, greater latitude would be allowed, until fuxthor notice in respect of certain appreciations, to the Foreign Transactions Advisory Committee. "In view oi present circumstances the committee has come to the conclusion, in which I ooncur, that immediate restriction is now required of the greater latitude then announced. I have reason to think that the' need for such restriction is generally acknowledged. Accordingly, I take this opportunity of Btating that the temporary relaxations made in February have been withdrawn." -
