94TH BIRTHDAY
ONERAHI RESIDENT The 9-lth birthday of Mrs. Annie Telfer was celebrated with a family gathering held at Onerahi on Sunday. Born in Auckland on December 12, 1844, Mrs. Telfer spent the early part of her life in the city, then in its infancy. After her marriage Mrs. Telfer made her home with her husband at Parua Bay on the Whangarei Harbour. They were among the pioneers of that district. Mrs. Telfer, who was left a widow with a young family, has 12 children living, 52 grand-children and 38 greatgrandchildren.
