OVERSEAS WEDDING
WELLINGTON BRIDEGROOM TRIPE—DALY [from our own correspondent] LONDON, Dec. 2 The wedding took place on December 1 of Mr. Anthony C. Tripe, of Wellington, New Zealand, to Miss Eileen Daly, of New York, at St. Mark's Church, Upper Hamilton Terrace, London. Mr. Tripe is an architect, who is gaining experience with Mr. Grey Wornum, one of the leading met) in his profession to-day. The bride, whoso father was Irish, and whose mother was Russian, was baptised at the church three days before the wedding. She was given away by Mr. Wornum and attended by Mrs. .Wornum. The bride wore an Edwardian dress of deep green crepe, with a small hat of ostrich plumes, turquoise, deep plum and pink in colour. Her bouquet was of mixed flowers and orchids, the colours matching those in her hat. The best man was Mr. Guy Eottrill. The reception was at Mr. and Mrs. Wornum's house in Upper Hamilton Terrace, and was attended by some 50 guests, many of whom were New Zealanders. The bride and bridegroom flew to Paris for their honeymoon. Their future home will be in London.
