AUSTRALIAN LOAN NEW DEFENCE MONEY IN HAND CANBERRA, Dec. 17 Tho Commonwealth cash and conversion loan has been fully subscribed and most of the maturing loans have been converted. Enough new money waii subscribed * to pay off thoso who did not convert. In addition the £4,000,000 of new money required for defence has been secured.
