Staffs in empire offices LIFTING OF A BAN (Received December 15, 5.5 p.m.) ' LONDON, Dec. 15 ,The ban on women joining the ministrative staffs in the Dominions Colonial Offices is to be lifted as # n experiment, according to the Minister, Mr. Malcolm Mac Donald. A few P°sts will bo available each year, subJect to examination. The Civil Service Association explains that the posts hitherto have been limited to men owing to tho possibility °£theiu going to isolated spots unsuitable for women. That argument 110 longer applies now that women doctors, Curses and others go'abroad to lonely places.
