REMOVING PARASITES

CHEAP EFFECTIVE REMEDY A cheap and effective remedy for lice and fleas on dogs, horses and cattle can be made as follows:—One pound of soft soap, one pint of kerosene, ono gallon of water. Dissolve the soft soap in hot water, add the kerosene and stir until cool, or, better still, pass through a spray pump to emulsify thoroughly. This makes a jelly-like mixture when cold, which should be rubbed into the skin and hair all over the animal. Two or more applications may be found necessary to rid the animal completely of the eggs of lice, but one application will kill fleas on dogs.
