Mr. L. J. Keys left for Wellington by air yesterday. Squadron-Leader E. G. Olson left by train last night for New Plymouth. The Hon. Eliot R. Davis, M.L.C returned from the south by train y e j! terday. The Hon. B. Martin, M.L.C., returned to Auckland by train from New Plymouth yesterday. Mr. A. H. Johnstone, K. 0.. wajl G passenger for Wellington by the limited express last night. Mr. A. E. Knowles, chairman of the New Zealand Poultry Board, left for Wellington last night by the limited express. The Rev. A. J. Grigg, principal, elect of the Baptist College of Victoria, has returned to Auckland after a short visit to Melbourne. The Rev. Fathers M. C. Kenefick C. F. Quinn, J. P. White and T. Curtin, who were ordained priests in Ireland this year, are due at Wellington by the Rangitane to-day. They will take up duties in the Auckland diocese. Mr. Dawson Donaldson was yesterday elected a member of the executive of the Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Relief Association, in succession to the late Sir George Richardson. Mr. Donaldson has been connected with the work of the association for many years, and was formerly chairman of its Waihi branch.
