HAMILTON CLUB'S MEETING [fkom our own cokhkspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Tho Hamilton Gun Club conducted a Christmas shoot at Melville. Tho ladies who had supplied afternoon tea at the shoots held during the season were tho guests of the members and wero inado presentations. The president of tho club, Mr. W. Woolven, presented tho prizes for tho various contests, each of which was of seven birds. Results wero as follows: — First Christmas Shoot.—D. Mitchell (1J yds) and W. Gribble (13yds) shot tho possible. Mitchell wefti tho shoot-off R. E. Farrow (14yds) and A. Webster (14yds) took third and Jourth places. Second Shoot.—A. Webster (15yds; and A. A. McLean (11yds) each broke tho possible. Webster won the shoot-off. It. Crosbio was third. Third Shoot. —Five contestants shot tho possible, tho shoot-off resulting as follows: R. E. Farrow (16yds), 1; W. Brinkworth (17yds), 2; W. Gribble (16yds), 3; H. Norris (14yds>, 4; A. Webster, 5. Fourth Shoot (points.)—W. Aitken, 21, 1; E. Bogun, 21, 2; W. Brinkworth, 21, 3; G. McMiken, 20, 4.
