CANOE CLUB FORMED
[from our own correspondent] RAGLAN, Wednesday A decision to form a canoe club was made at an enthusiastic meeting of supporters in Raglan. The following officers were elected:— Patron. Hon. W. Lee Martin; president, Mr. I?. R. Lovesrove; vice-president, Mr. W A Chitty; secretary, Mr. I{. 11. Peart; treasurer Mr. R. It. Lovegrovo; club captain, Mr. R. F. Lovegrove; committee, Messrs. N. Pain C. Smith, F. Middlemiss, L. Peart, G. Fuller! A programme for Regatta Day was drawn up. Green and orange wero decided on for tho club s colours.
