ST. MARY'S COLLEGE

I HIGH STANDARD OF WORK DEMONSTRATION TO PARENTS PRESENTATIONS FOR MERIT A high standard of musical training was revealed by pupils of St. Mary's College, Ponsonby, conducted by the Sisters of Mercy, at the annual prize-giving ceremony at the college assembly hall last night. Bishop Liston presided over a large attendance of parents and friends. Prior to the distribution of prizes by Bishop Liston a concert programme was given by the girls, opening "Waltz in A Flat" (Brahms), by the college orchestra.
