TALENTED GIRL PUPILS
ST. MARY'S COLLEGE CONCERT i "These sinters do not stand alone—they draw on traditions that; have been in the Church for centuries," said i Bishop Liston, in an address at the annual prize-giving ceremony at St. Mary's College, Ponsonby, last night. The function, which was preceded by the annual school concert, was held in the college assembly hall, which was filled by a large gathering of parents and friends. A feature of the concert programme was the interesting variety of numbers chosen for the choral work. The programme was further enriched by contributions of part songs by the college choir and the various choirs within tne college. The histrionic ability of the pupils was also displayed in the plays presented during the evening.
