COMBINED SOCIETIES GLADIOLI AND CARNATIONS DETAILS OF THE AWARDS Tlio combined summer show of tho Auckland Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society and the Auckland Gladiolus Society was held in tho Newmarket municipal hall yesterday. In the gladioli section, Mrs. Low's "Star of Bethlehem" was awarded tho. champion of champions prize, while tho clip presented by the Auckland Gladiolus Society for the best nine variets in the amateur section was won by Mr. C. P. Worley. The John Burns Cup for six varieties in the same section was awarded to Miss L. Butter. The champion bloom in the carnation section was Mrs. Steele's "Surrey Clove," while Mr. H.
