Ho was very sore over the week-end and was X-rayed to-day, when it was found no hones wero broken. Atkins expects to be in the saddle for the holiday racing. The stewards hold an inquiry into the falling of Royal Tinge and resolved that the mishap was accidental, no action being required. The condition of the ■Trentham jockey S. Wilson, who was injured at Otaki and is at present in the Palmerston North Hosipatl, is reported to have shown considerable improvement.
