ANNUAL PICNICS

ENJOYABLE OUTINGS With the advent of summer weather, schools, football clubs, business houses and similar bodies aro holding their annual picnics. Fine weather prevailed during the .veekend, when a number of outings were held in Auckland. KOHIMARAMA SCHOOL Ideal conditions prevailed for the annual picnic of Kohimarama School, held at Redwood Park, Swanson, on Saturday. 'Che various sports events were keenly contested, and at the conclusion of the day prizes were presented by Mr. J. C. Rowe, chairman of the school committee. The points competition among the school houses resulted in a win for Red, which defeated Blue by 138 points to 124.

NORMAL SCHOOL About 700 parents and children travelled to Motuihi by the Duchess on Saturday for the annual picnic by the Normal School. MYERS' PARK SCHOOL The annual picnic of the Myers' Park Deaf and Blind Children's School was held at Tui Glen yesterday, about 130 pupils, parents and friends being present.
