AUCKLAND CENTRE'S EVENTS FIRST SCRATCH MEETING Except for a cross wind, ideal conditions prevailed on Saturday afternoon when the Auckland Amateur Cycling Centre held the first of a series of scratch race meetings at the Papatoetoc Stadium track. Four clubs were represented, and the result of the meeting was a win for the Lynndale Club with 3 5 points, followed by Manukau 11V? points. Northern 7 points, and Papatoetoe OVs point* I'apatoeloe actually gained the most points, but 11 points were deducted from its total lor absentees. Results were as follows: — Half-mile Sprint.
