She is due at Auckland on January 7. THE TANKER ARNDALE The Admiralty motor-tanker Arndale will arrive at the Devonport Naval Base on Wednesday with fuel oil. Built by kwan, Hunter and Wigham Richardson, Limited, at Newcastle last year, the Arndale's gross tonnage is 8200. TRICULA IN PORT Arriving some days earlier than expected, the Shell Company's motor-tanker Tricula reached port last night from Balik Papan. She will berth this morning at Western Wharf and later complete discharge at Wellington. The Tricula was built at Kiel in IU3O. her gross tonnage being 62*21. PHOSPHATES FROM SFAX The Greek steamer Evgenia Chandris, with phosphate from Sfax. in the. Mediterranean, is expected to arrive here late this month or early in January. A further Greek steamer, the Adelfoi Chandris, has been fixed to load at Sfax and should reach Auckland in March. Both ships will complete discharge at New Plymouth.

RIMUTAKA LEAVES LONDON Cabled advice has been received that the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimutaka, formerly the P. and O. liner Mongolia, left London on Thursday for Auckland and Wellington on her first voyage to New Zealand. She is due here on January 12. Captain C. B. Lamb, formerly of the Rotorua, is in command. NAUMBURG AND GOSLAR The Hamburg-Amerika steamer Nanmburg, which is loading wool and general cargo at King's Wharf, is expected to sail to-mor-row afternoon for Napier and Wellington. She will leave Wellington for Dunkirk, Antwerp, Bremen and Hamburg- on December 21. The North German Lloyd steamer Goslar is due at Lyttelton to-day from Port Pirie, South Australia, to load wool for the Continent. She will complete at Timaru and Port Chalmers and sail finally about January 3.
