YOUNG BOY KILLED
MILKING SHED ACCIDENT CAUGHT IN MACHINE SHAFTING [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Wednesday Fatal injuries were suffered by an eight-year-old boy, Rex Marshall, when he was caught* in the shafting of a milking machine on a farm at Waimate North last night. The boy was the son of a share-inilker on the Northland Estate. After being caught in the machine the boy was thrown heavily ,to the floor of the shed. He was taken to the Bay of Islands Hospital at Kawakawa, but died before being admitted.
