Goldfields Dredging (Otago).—First wash-up for broken period since recommencing dredging. 6oz. ldwt. Molyneux Dredging (Otago).—Tho dredge recommenced dredging on November 21 and during the tvro weeks ended December 3 recovered 31 oz. for 21 hours. REPORTS OF MANAGERS Mount Lyeil (Tasmania). Fortnight ended November 23: Mines, tons extracted— North Lyell, 2685; Crown Lyell, 1827; West Lyell, 37.041. Lyell Comstock. 3523. No. 7 level, west crosscut to Gift through mineralised schist. No. 10 level, main crosscut, to 213 ft, through ore to 207 ft, thepefc through mineralised schist. Reduction works- Furnace in blast full period; 1721 tons' refinery anodes produced for current year. Concentrator: operated 33G hours and -treated 45,615 'tons ore, producing 2187 tons concentrates. Copper refinery.:.. Tank house in operation throughout fprtnight, 507 tons cathode copper produced for period. Total for ■ current year, 1078 tons.
