ARMSTRONG RETAINS TITL,E NEW YORK, Dec. 8 Conceding 111b., the negro Henry Armstrong technically knocked out A 1 Manfredo in the third round of a world welter-weight championship bout at Cleveland. Armstrong fought savagely, and after receiving a punishing left hook in the second round Manfredo did not seem to know what was happening.
