HUGE SHARK CAUGHT
WORLD RECORD CLAIMED ADELAIDE, Dec. 5 A world record shark catch with rod and line is claimed by Mr. G. R. Cowell. He landed a white shark weighing 12911b. The white shark, like most of the large sharks caught in Australian waters, is not a game fish, and has no fight in it. Fish of this type grow to a weight.,of up, to abmit 20001b. The records established in connection with non-game fish are not recognised by the ordinary game-fishing clubs.
