TRAFFIC PROSECUTION
'OWNER OF ♦HORSE FLOAT NO INSPECTION - CERTIFICATE - [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday "The correspondence received by the chief traffic inspector indicates that de- ■ = fendant is suffering from a persecution complex," said Mr. H. C. Rodgers, traffio inspector, when prosecuting Augustus Cameron, a horse float proprietor j, of Hamilton, for failing to , carry an inspection certificate on his float. Defendant did not appear. Mr. Rodgers said there had been a lot of trouble throughout the year with regard to defendant's float. He had been instructed to carry out extensive .■ repairs in June, but had'failed to keep appointments for an inspection of his ■ vehicle. The inspector added that Cameron " was a very difficult man to deal with,"! and when spoken to by inspectors be-. • came abusive and evasive. '•:> Defendant was convicted and fined £2 and costs.
