Previously, on the Addington dirt track, the Australian pacer had covered a mile in Im 59 2-sa, 'fastest time on record in the Southern Hemisphere, Worlds record is the lm 55a of the American pacer Billy Direct. Greyhound, American wonder trotter, has done 1m 55 Ja. Well illuatrated here is the lateral gait or a pacer# front and tear legs extended on the same flank. By contrast, a trotter runs with a diagonal gait, front leg and opposite flank rear leg moving together.
