POST FOR PRESIDENT' jßOrt PRECEDENT ESTABLISHED (Received December 5, 5.5 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, Dec. i President Roosevelt's eldest son and secretary, Mr. James Roosevelt, has been appointed vice-president of Sainuel Goldwyn Productions. He is the first member of a White "House family ever to have entered the entertainment business.
It is reported that Mr. Roosevelt junior will receive a salary of 50,000 dollars a year. He explained that for a long time he had contemplated joining an industry in which relations with the public would be an outstanding feature.
