ST. LUCIA DISASTER BRITISH AID APPRECIATED British Wireless RUGBY, Dec. '2 The Governor of the Windward Islands sent a telegram to tho Colonial Office giving further particulars supplied by tho Administrator of St. Lucia of the casualties in tho recent landslide in that island. Tho latest figures are a total of 107 known or assumed to bo dead, and cases of a further 12 reported missing are being investigated. The Governor expresses tho very 'deep appreciation of tho colony for grants totalling £16,000,. voted by tho British Government toward tho relief of sufferers and for anti-malaria measures. A sum of more than £2OO has . been raised privately in Grenada and supplemented by gifts of stores and clothing.
