"As the opportunity for making such a visit might occur during the forthcoming Parliamentary recess inquiries were made as to whether a date in the first half of January would be suitable to Signor Mussolini. "His Excellency has stated that ho would, in principle, welcome a visit from Mr. Chamberlain and Viscount Halifax at that time."
