FOOT GIVES TROUBLE (Received November 27, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Nov. 26 After attending the funeral of "Kama! Ataturk in Turkey, Field-Marshal Lord Birdwood returned to England yesterday, crossing the Channel in the same steamer as Mr. Chamberlain and Viscount Halifax. ■ . Lord Birdwood had to be carried ashore owing to the. foot he injured on his way through Paris to Ankara being inflamed. •
