GYMNASIUM EVENTS
The annual Vhangarei Hijrh School gymnasium championships were held in the Ambulance Hall. A number of spectators attended and were treated to a good display. The judge, Mr. J. W. Rothwell, remarked on the improved standard. Results were:—Senior championship (possible points 150): D. Lloyd, 113 points, 1; 0. Haigh, 111 points, 2; A. Warne, 139 points, 3. Junior Championship (possible points 100). —T. Coote. 81 points, 1; K. Wise, 76 points, 2; C. Beehre, 72 points,, 3.
