TRIBUTE DURING MATCHES Tribute to the" memory of a former Auckland and New Zealand representative cricketer, Mr. A. M. Howden, whose death occurred on Friday, was paid by players and spectators at Eden Park on Saturday. A bell rung at three o'clock was. the signal for UlO cessation of play in the four senior games on the park, and the scene wis an impressive one as the spectators also stood while two minutes' silence was observed. Members of the North Shore senior team, with which club Mr. Howden was associated for a number of years, wore black armbandfi.
