Paterson, of Hamilton, for the erection of a laboratory for agricultural research work at the Kuakura State Farm. The plans provide for a large one-storeyed wooden building of two campartments, one consisting of laboratory rooms and tlie other of offices for the. and clerical staffs and a library.

The existing farm offices are being demolished; the clerical staff being temporarily accommodated in the ; students' quarters. Work on the erection of tho new building has commenced.

The laboratory work on the farm in connection with the facial eczema investigation is being carried out in an old building formerly used for the storage and packing of honey.
