TRAINING AT RUAKURA

PUPILS FROM WH ANGAREI SUCCESSFUL COURSE ENDS [IROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Friday A very successful agricultural course has been given to 27 boys from the Whangarei High School at the Ruakura State Farm this week. It is the first time that a party of schoolboys has travelled so far to take advantage of the facilities offered at Ruakura. The tour was initiated and organised by Mr. H. R. Heward, agricultural master at the school. They paid their own expenses. An excellent series of lectures and demonstrations has been given throughout the week. Mr. Heward expressed his appreciation to-day of the splendid treatment he and the boys had received from the farm manager, Mr. T. E. Rodda, the fields superintendent, Mr. P. S. Smallfield, and other members of the Ruakura staff. The boys will return to "Whangarei to-morrow.
