OPENING OF THE SEASON The swimming season in Auckland will dp oj>c!ied with a carnival in the Tepid Baths under tho control of tho North Shore Amateur Swimming and Life-Saving Club on December G. The following handicap programme has boen arranged:—Tiny tots, hoys, 33 l-3yds; tiny tots, girls, 33 l-3.vds; junior boys, 50yds; junior girls, 50.vds; intermediate boys. GG 2-3 yds; intermedjato girls, 50yds; Tommy Lowe, nine men. relay, inter-club; bronststroke, 100 yds; firo insurance, 133 l-3yds rolay, 4-nicn team. Manager's Cup; open, 220 yds; Pascoo Cup, (iO 2-3 yds, dual rolay, hand; Fuller Cup. 100 yds, ladies; novice, 50yds; mon's, 100 yds; Dunford Cup, 50yds. competition for lady members of North Shoro Club only; water polo.
