PROGRESSIVE CLUB

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES At the weekly meeting of the Young Women's Christian Association Pro gressive Club, over which Mrs. R. E. Murdoch presided, devotions in con nection with the World's Week of Prayer were conducted by Miss Wills, of the association's staff. Plans for Christmas festivities were discussed and a report was presented by the delegate to the All-Associations' meeting held recently. Hostesses were Mrs Robson, and Mrs. Shaw. At a social evening the president Mrs. Murdoch, received the guests wearing a black lace frock. She was assisted by the first vice-president. Mrs. M. Neels, wearing black georgette and lace. Items were given bv Mrs. Mac Donald, Miss V, Oliver, and Master Ronnie Shaw. Competition dances were won by Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. and Miss Oliver. Supper was served by the ladies' committee.
